Finest perforation for ventilated vehicle seats
The
MK10 pattern is among the finest perforations in the industry. It features particularly tight perforations of
3.8 × 1.9 mm , a diameter of
1.1 mm ± 0.2 mm, and a punched area of
18.6% . This structure provides an elegant appearance with maximum ventilation – ideal for climate-controlled seating and interior trim.
This perforation is a
special pattern for BMW Klima and is also used on
Porsche models – both by professional vehicle refiners and quality-conscious private customers.
Ecological mineral tanning & natural quality
Our
MK10 automotive leather is produced in an environmentally friendly manner. It is obtained from
ecological mineral tanning and complies with all current EU guidelines. The leather is free of AZO dyes and completely harmless to health. Every hide is a natural product and exhibits typical characteristics such as scars or slight color variations – making each hide unique. This ensures that leather remains a genuine natural material with character.
Our leather meets the tested basic values of the automotive industry and is tested according to relevant DIN and ISO standards.
Processing & Delivery Form
This
perforated nappa leather is available as a carefully cut
half or quarter hide . Thanks to its thickness of approximately
1.1 to 1.3 mm, the leather is particularly easy to work with: It is suitable for all common upholstery methods –
gluing, sewing, stapling, tacking, and stretching – and impresses with its high level of handling flexibility.
